Job post: Customer Service and Support Engineer

Title: Customer Service and Support Engineer for a HOT Cloud Computing Company (Aliso Viejo, CA)

This position is for a mid-level operations/support engineer who will report to the Dir. of Operations and be responsible for new grid deployments, pre/post sales engineering, and direct customer support/training. Main responsibilities include primarily be pre-sales demos and operational deployments of the company's AppLogic Grid Operating System.
The position will require shift work, on call duties after normal business hours and could require some travel (<10%)
Skills: Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
Clear understanding and ability to communicate Architecture of Web based applications
• Strong and clear understanding of the English Language, Mutli-Lingual ++++
• Clear understanding of server virtualization technologies and methods
• Linux, LAMP, PostgreSQL installation and configuration a must
• html, Perl, bash, Java Script, Ruby +, PHP, Java + a must (understanding and minor dev. ability)
• Sysadmin and software development experience a MUST
• Customer service attitude / communications capability a MUST
• SW development a +, c/c++
• Being able to build a Linux distro from scratch a PLUS
• People who have defined processes and templates for others (or are capable of it) a major PLUS
• Clustering and high availability infrastructures a PLUS
• Training and teaching experience is a PLUS
• Ability to work in a fast paced, professional environment
• A positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks for many clients
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with client on a consistent basis.
• Organized and detail oriented
• Must be a self starter with excellent communication skills
